Stopped by the Yesteryear Farm Fair to look at all the old tractors and unique farm tolls and engines. Stopped by the weaving and spinning tent and gave the loom a try. Hubby thinks we should start a new project and build/restore a "Hit and Miss" egine. These little beauties ran things like pumps, wheat grinders. We had a blast and got a little sun!
Aren't these old farm implements wonderful?
ReplyDeleteI see old farm stuff scattered out in the old wheat fields up here, kinda sad. And it's not easy to find the owners to see if they want to part with their old stuff.
I would love to get a few pieces, give 'em a fresh coat of paint & display out at the front of our property.
